How to measure at home

  1. Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger
  2. Mark where the paper overlaps
  3. Measure the length in millimeters
  4. Divide by 3.14 to get your diameter
  5. Match to the chart — size up if between sizes

Best practice: Visit a local jeweler for a free measurement — the most accurate method available.

Necklace Length

Length determines where the piece sits on your body. 18 inches is the most versatile and works across most necklines and body types.

Length Where it sits Best for
14" Base of neck Choker style, crew necklines
16" Collarbone V-necks, open collars
18" Just below collarbone Most versatile — suits all necklines
20" Chest / top of bust Layering, lower necklines
24" Upper stomach Long layering, statement pieces
30" Below bust Opera length, dramatic layering

Layering tip: For a curated stack, choose pieces at least 2 inches apart in length — 16", 18", and 20" layer cleanly without tangling.

Earring Reference

Earring sizing is less about measurement and more about proportion and face shape. Use this as a reference when choosing between styles.

Style Typical size Best suited for
Studs 4mm – 10mm All face shapes, everyday wear, stacking in second piercing
Small hoops 10mm – 20mm Casual and professional wear, all face shapes
Medium hoops 20mm – 35mm Oval, heart, and square face shapes
Large hoops 35mm – 60mm Oval and oblong faces, statement looks
Drop / dangle 20mm – 50mm drop Round and square faces — adds length
Huggie hoops 8mm – 14mm All face shapes, ideal for second and third piercings

Proportion tip: Larger face shapes can carry bigger earrings; delicate features are best complemented by studs and huggies under 12mm.
